Show us Scotland waterways Competition
04th December 2009

Received this email today.
Hi Sharon,
Congratulations, I am delighted to inform you that your entry has been picked as the winner by our judges for the Buildings & Structures category. Your picture of The Falkirk Wheel was unique and drew attention to the inner workings of the engineering structure whilst showing it being used for its boating purpose.
The competition closed on Monday 30 November and we received nearly 200 entries across all categories and were delighted with the quality of entries sent in.
We would be delighted if we could present you with your prize in person at our Glasgow office but understand that travel may prohibit this. Alternatively, we will send the prize out to your home so could you please provide your address if you are not able to come in and collect the prize yourself?
Congratulations once again and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kindest regards,
John Bruce
Marketing Co-ordinator
As you can imagine, I was absolutely amazed. It is only the second prize I have ever won. (the first was a pair of binoculars - but thats another story.)
Though they did want me to pick up my cheque in person, but agreed that Glasgow is a little too far for a day trip.
